X Factor Albania is the Albanian version of The X Factor, adapted from the original UK series to find the new singing talent. The first season is scheduled to start in January 8 and it is going to be broadcast by TV Klan. The judges are going to be: Kosovar Albanian singer Vesa Luma,[1] the Albanian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, Juliana Pasha, Albanian superstar Alban Skënderaj and the famous composer Pandi Laço. The show is going to be hosted by Alketa Vejsiu, who brought the licence of The X Factor.[2]
It was announced that there will be four categories on the show, Males 15-24, Females 15-24, Over 25's and Groups.
Also it has been announced that there will be 5 fazes on the show: first faze includes "Producers audition", which means that the producers will choose the audition participants, the second faze will be "Auditions in front of the judges" where the participants sing their first song before the judging panel, the third faze is the Boot Camp, where there will be 150 candidates. Fourth faze includes "Judge's houses" or known in Albania as "The visit in the judge's houses". And the last, the fifth faze will be the Live shows. It hasn't been announced how many weeks the live shows will be having.[3]
On the official Facebook page of the X Factor, it was announced that the show will be first aired in 8 January 2012.
